- The arcade version requires to push the plunger’s handle in order to launch Willy Crash into a 3D cityscape. Hitting the tops of the buildings, he earns points and performs a dance of joy. If he fails, he will collapse into a series of interactive obstacles. Losing, in fact, could be as much fun as winning.
- Willy Crash cabinet incorporates a new light cannon, synchronized with the game, and a TNT box-looking piston. With a smaller footprint, the game uses addressable movement LEDs designed to catch everyone’s eyes. Comic sound effects are used as Willy collapses and makes his way through the virtual city.
- The application version is similar to the arcade version, with some added features. Instead of tickets you earn coins, depending on your goal. Collect your coins for unique outfits for Willy, which increase his endurance and keep him safe longer. Topics include a king, a crushed caveman and a defeated motorcyclist.
- Thanks to the digital functionality of the applications, we managed to orchestrate more of a story around Willy and his dream of being a stuntman, attracting players as they learn more about him and how he got into this situation- to be released from a cannon. We were also able to add a level of customization, as users can mix and match equipment and accessories, creating their own look to share with friends and social media.
