Athletes always pay special attention to nutrition, rest, and physical exercises, thus adopting a healthy lifestyle. Waterboyz supports movement, performance, and health by participating in sports events.
On August 14th, on the stage of the Casino Square in Mamaia resort, the Romanian Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation (in partnership with Power Gym Constanta club) organized the Miss & Mister Fitness Romania 2022 event. Waterboyz responded with great interest and joined the initiative of the Romanian Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation by offering support in organizing the event. The competition dedicated to the beach categories, Bikini Fitness and Men's Physique, brought together well-prepared athletes who challenged the jury led by Calin Brehaita, the president of the judging committee. Athletic abilities were evaluated in the dynamic and engaging 90-second free posing routine, where style, personality, athletic coordination, and overall performance were crucial elements in assessing the athletes.
Following the cumulative scoring, the winners were announced:

About Miss Fitness and Mister Fitness
Mister Fitness was officially recognized as a sports discipline by the IFBB Executive Council and IFBB Congress starting from November 27, 2005, at Shanghai, China, after the World Championships organized in 2003, 2004, and 2005. Miss Fitness was recognized as a sports discipline by the IFBB Executive Council and IFBB Congress starting from December 3, 1995, at Guam, USA. In the evaluation phase, judges take into consideration the athletes' posture and attitude, assess the athletes' overall physique, proportions, symmetry, muscle quality, and skin tone. The overall presentation should demonstrate elegance and self-confidence.
How is the physique of a performance fitness athlete evaluated?
Athletes perform a fitness routine to selected music, which should not exceed 90 seconds. Although mandatory movements are not required, the routine is recommended to include: elements of strength, flexibility, power, and execution speed.
• Evaluation, starting with a general impression of the physique, should consider the overall athletic development of the muscles, presenting a symmetrically balanced physique, skin condition, and the athlete's ability to present themselves with confidence and elegance.
• The physique should be evaluated based on the level of overall muscle density achieved through athletic efforts and diet.
• Muscle groups should appear complete and firm, with a small amount of body fat.
• The physique should not be excessively muscular or excessively lean and should not exhibit visible muscle separation and/or striations.
• A physique that is considered either too muscular or too lean is deducted points.
• The evaluation should also consider skin elasticity and tone. Skin tone should appear smooth and healthy.
"Congratulations to all participants and thanks to all sponsors and partners of this event!" said the president of the RBCF, Professor Gabriel Sebastian Toncean.
